The fine views from my sea view room were amazing! The architecture of the Pousada within the historic fort added a unique charm. The buffet breakfast was a delight, with a variety of local treats. The check-in was easy, and I appreciated the helpful recommendations from the staff.

the location couldn't be more exceptionally nice and unbeatable in a 300+year old fortress. plus, it was right by the town center in less than 15 minutes and both the restaurant and the bar. i was offered a more than adequate and plentiful breakfast with special local pastries.

The Double/Twin Superior Room Sea View was like a slice of paradise, especially with sunsets, made me forget the world! Breakfast is a feast, with everything from warm pastries to local delights. And don't even get me started on the pizza at Casa de Pasto A Canadinha- great!

Slow restaurant service detracted from the dining experience on busy nights. The high steps leading to town's center were challenging, especially for those with mobility issues.

Ocean from our sea view room. The hotel cleverly integrates the historic features of the fort. Although the walk to town can be steep, the ambiance and tranquility were amazing. I appreciated the pool area for a refreshing dip, albeit a bit smaller than expected.

The small pool fits the quiet atmosphere, and the historic fort architecture adds a unique vibe that you don't see everywhere. The tranquility around the hotel offers a perfect escape from the bustle.

The single lounge/bar area lacks a comfortable feel. In room 106, the air-conditioning left the dining area too chilly during breakfast, while a protruding metal knob in the floor posed a risk for stubbed toes. Unfortunately, the humidity problem caused wet walls and mold even on the upper floors.

The bedroom was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the fine views of the ocean from my room, as well as the beautiful garden view surrounding the hotel! The buffet breakfast was diverse with plenty of delicious options.

The views from the pool area are just amazing 🌊, and the staff seriously. Breakfast was pretty decent, though the choices felt a bit limited. A little surprised at how outdated some room fixtures were. Still, the atmosphere made it all worthwhile!

The views from my sea view room were very nice, with the ocean right outside 🌊 The room was large and had a huge bathroom. Comfortable pillows. The bed felt a bit too hard for my taste, and the shower design wasn't very practical, leaving water all over the floor. Still, the unique fort architecture definitely adds a special vibe to the place!
